Research Square, the parent company of American Journal Experts (AJE), became an adopting organization of C4DISC in Q1 2019. The coalition, formed to discuss and address issues of diversity and inclusion within the Scholarly Publishing industry, represents a large group of like-minded companies. Research Square celebrates our support of the C4DISC initiative and our recognition that we stand by the same principles.
“The decision to join C4DISC was easy for us;” says Juliet Kaplan, Chief of Staff at Research Square, “establishing the expectation of inclusion for the huge variety of diverse voices working in the academic publishing industry today is critical if we want to reach our potential as a scientific community.”
Research Square has always placed significant emphasis on diversity and inclusion since the company was founded in 2004 and will continue to invest in inclusive, flexible, and family-friendly workplace practices to ensure we are an employer of choice for all people in the workforce.
Vice President of Human Resources at Research Square, Amy Rawls, states
“It is such an honor and so fulfilling to work for a company where we are accepted for who we are and expected to be nothing but ourselves. I am confident that this inclusive environment is a place where the diversity, creativity, and brilliance of our team will continue to grow and prosper. We will achieve great things together, each of us bringing our unique talents and thoughts to light”.
