(JULY 30, 2019 - DURHAM, NC, USA) June marked the 15th anniversary of American Journal Experts (AJE). AJE is an author services company that provides researchers around the world with solutions and tools to help prepare their research for publication and share their work with the world. Shashi Mudunuri and Vadim Polikov founded AJE in Durham, North Carolina in 2004. Since that time, the company has grown substantially and now employs over 250 people and has generated nearly $175 million in revenue. In total, AJE has helped nearly 2 million researchers in 192 countries prepare and publish over 700,000 papers in English language journals.
Reminiscing on the past 15 years, Founder and CEO Shashi Mudunuri says, “My motivation behind creating AJE was to help level the playing field for authors around the world to have a fair chance at publication. I am proud to say that the impact AJE has made has surpassed my wildest expectations.”
AJE celebrated by hosting various events where they provided customers, employees and partners with custom gifts to commemorate the anniversary. The team also released two videos highlighting the history and people behind the work done at AJE.
Additionally, AJE decided to give back to the local Triangle and global research communities for their support of the AJE team and its mission over the past 15 years. AJE made four $1000 donations to the following organizations:
