AJE Hosts Seminar at Japanese Geoscience Union's 2019 Annual Meeting

In May 2019, AJE hosted a seminar at the Japanese Geoscience Union (JPGU) annual meeting in Chiba, Japan. The workshop was delivered by AJE’s APAC Accounts Manager, Rebecca Roberts, and focused on manuscript preparation and finding the journal that was the best fit for the author’s research.

Roberts said of the event, “AJE’s seminar at the recent Japan Geoscience Union’s annual meeting helped both graduate students and experienced researchers develop awareness of which type of journals are best suited to their publication goals and how to best structure a manuscript, both to ensure that their research is clearly communicated and to avoid losing time rewriting a paper after review. AJE’s ability to deliver an information-packed seminar in clear English helped not only Japanese researchers but also the many international researchers and students attending the meeting.”

In an effort to support researchers during the publication process, AJE regularly presents educational material at institutions and conferences around the world. This trip marked the first time the AJE team was able to participate at the JPGU conference. The participants enjoyed the content and benefited greatly from the presentation.

AJE and JPGU have been partners since 2018. AJE provides JPGU authors and members with discounted language editing and author services.
