AJE partners with Cambridge University Press
Cambridge University Press has today announced the launch of a new author services website for 2017, in partnership with world-leading author services company American Journal Experts (AJE). The site will offer language editing for prospective authors who are writing in English as a second language. Authors will be able to purchase services and submit their manuscripts for editing within the site. Editing services from experts in the author’s field of study will then be delivered by AJE, using their rigorous paper matching and quality control procedures.
Emily Marchant, Author Services Manager at Cambridge University Press, said:
“Authors are some of the most important members of Cambridge’s academic community – they write our content, but they often have many other roles: as researchers, influencers of library buying decisions, reviewers and members of editorial boards. At Cambridge, we are committed to providing our authors with the best services possible. It is important that we effectively support our international author communities, so that we’re able to attract and publish the world’s best research. Launching this site means that we can offer a quality managed, convenient option for prospective authors who are writing in English as a second language and need further support prior to submission, thereby making the experience of publishing research with Cambridge as straightforward as possible.”
According to Alexis Kennedy, Global Marketing and Partnerships Manager at AJE:
“Offering language editing services better enables researchers from around the world to effectively and accurately communicate their work. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Cambridge University Press on this initiative, which will enhance the impact of vital scholarly research and strengthen the global academic community.”
This language editing service is just one step in Cambridge’s planned programme of new initiatives to enhance author experience across both books and journals. You can visit the Cambridge language editing site at http://www.cambridge.org/academic/author-services.
